IMSA Hosts a Reception for Visiting Iraqi Physicians
in Washington, D.C.
In an effort to develop and promote , professional, educational, and cultural relations between the IMSA
community and the international community especially our country of origin, Iraq.
IMSA had the pleasure of hosting a reception for 35 Iraqi physicians who have been chosen by the Iraqi Ministry Of Higher Education and the Iraqi Ministry Of Health for a one month training program in different medical specialties in 5 universities in the united state.
The reception took place in Washington DC and was organized by IMSA vice President Dr. Zina Alathari and
attended by IMSA past President Dr. Shawki Al-Attar and the Iraqi cultural attache Dr. Hadi Alkhalili .
We wish these Iraqi physicians the best of luck and we hope they return to Iraq safely to participate in advancing the health system there.
